Keystone Park

Keystone Park is a new and exciting logistics development that is a major catalyst for growth in the Hammarsdale and Cato Ridge areas.

Keystone is located in Hammarsdale which 46 kms from the Port of Durban with direct access from the N3 in both directions.

The collaboration between Keystone Park developer and the public sector is where the competitive advantage of the location lies. Transnet has planned to build an inland dry port for freight in Cato Ridge to ease congestion in the Port. The location of this inland dry port is a congestion free 7kms from Keystone.

Currently new railway lines are being laid on Maydon Wharf to facilitate rail access directly to the key side. This project is coupled with dredging to enable large container ships to berth directly adjacent to the new rail. The end result will be an efficient and cost effective means of transporting freight via rail from inside the Port to Cato Ridge. The project will be completed in early 2017.

Keystone is already home to Mr Price's newest DC of over 100 000 sqm. Ackermans has more recently signed and the platform is currently being prepared for their new DC which will be even larger.

Currently there are numerous platforms available for sale in Keystone. They range in size from 3 776 sqm to 55 073 sqm. The asking price is R1 600/sqm which includes all services and infrastructure.
